Eccoci is a private space for families and close friends. We collect only what the app needs to work, we never sell your data, and we show no ads.
Who is responsible

What we collect

Who can see your content
Only the members of the group you post in. Their answers stay hidden from you until you post yours that day, and yours stay hidden from them in the same way. Photos are stored privately and shown only through short-lived links. Emails we send never include answers or photos.
Who helps us run the app
- Supabase: database, sign-in and photo storage, hosted in the United States (East).
- Resend: sends sign-in and reminder emails.
- Apple: push notifications, App Store and subscriptions.
- Cloudflare: hosts this website and counts visits without cookies.
They process data only on our instructions. When data leaves the European Economic Area, transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.
Legal basis (for people in the EU, UK and Switzerland)
- Contract: to provide the app you signed up for.
- Consent: for push notifications, which you can turn off at any time in your phone settings.
- Legitimate interest: to keep the app secure and prevent abuse.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account exists. If you leave a group, your past posts stay visible to that group unless you delete them. When you delete your account, we delete your profile and the content you posted within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Delete your account in the app, or write to ciao@eccociapp.com. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Italy that is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Age
Eccoci is for people aged 14 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect.
